THERMOMETER Sheet
This format consists of thermometer graphs that compare actual with budget. Only the actual is plotted on the graph.

The graph title confirms the metric being displayed PLUS the behaviour of the variance: Adverse or Favourable … Budget always = 100%

PICTOGRAMS Sheet
A vague attempt at pictograms.

I have put pictures ONLY in the variance bar on the two graphs on the right.

I have only plotted the variance bars in the graph at bottom left and have then put graphics in three of the four bars. As you can see, you need to choose the graphics carefully although I have tried to find and use distribution/warehouse specific graphics.

Enlarge the graphs and/or change the vertical scale to enhance the effect you want.

NON GRAPH GRAPHIC Sheet
A non graph graphic

This uses the REPT function that apparently presents us with a histogram/bar chart.

I have used wingdings to make the fav and the adv bars look like twin brothers.

I have then used conditional formatting to make them blue or red although the blue looks black on my computer!.
