Analyse These Graphs Introduction Without any further blether from me, here is a series of graphs taken from the BBC web site earlier today.
I wanted to get some up to date news on oil prices, as they had fallen below $60 per barrel for the first time in ages. I then wanted to see the strength of any relationship between oil prices and a variety of stock exchange indices.
Whether there are any relationships between any of these graphs is for you to decide! Feel free to write and tell me, however! I am not trying to influence your judgement as I just thought of slinging these graphs together on the spur of the moment. I can see some relationships, though!!
Sorry that I don't have the time to link the graph to the BBC pages they came from. See the link at the end of this page to a new article from the BBC on the latest, at the time of writing, oil price news.
You might also care to learn a little about the stock exchange indices and where they come from.
Hot on the trail of this page, the BBC published a page of their own on the latest oil price news: discussing the price in relation to the latest news of OPEC output levles. Click here.
