Bob Jensen If you're an accountant and want to know the answer to anything related to accountancy, here is your man. Bob Jensen provides the most fantastic web site of any on the Web. This is no exaggeration and lucky for us that he's an accountant. US centric but Bob provides such a superlative service that this hardly matters.

John Lacher CPA (eesh, dig the CPA bit!) Along with my own pivot table pages, here's another good one. Aimed specifically at accounting problems. Useful for everything, though!

Statistics for Managers Using Microsoft Excel One of the worst home pages you'll see: yellow and light green on white! It hides something marvellous, though. Well worthy of a trip to the optician!

National Statistics - the official UK statistics site UK Government statistics site: this site recently got much better and much easier to use. Great for teacher and student and fantastic resource for materials development.
Macro-Economic Time Series Data Part of the MIMAS service: in this case OECD data. Another great resource for accountants and economists alike
Question Corner: Applications of the Geometric Mean It's taken from a question and answer section of the University of Toronto's Mathematics Network and it's a good introduction to the geometric mean. I used it!
Statistical Resources on the Web From the University of Michigan's Document Centre: a massive amount of data for a wide range of topics ranging from Agriculture to weather.
